hello there...

 

I'm Nancy. 

 

I'm an oilfield wife, and my husband, Jr, is incredibly loving and supportive of all my creative whims-even when he thinks they're silly. We've created three beautiful children together, Devin [5], Leilah [3], and Mia [1]. I also have a beautiful and sweet stepdaughter, Kailynn [6]. My family is my world and our crazy, beautiful life continually inspires me.

 

Although we both grew up in Southern California, we currently reside in Grand Junction, Colorado. Over the 7 years that I have lived here, I've fallen in love with Colorado and the Western Slope. I especially adore the changing seasons- something I never got to see in California.

 

I stumbled across my love for photography entirely by accident while taking pictures of my children, and was surprised my how much joy it gave me. I genuinely love almost every aspect of photography, from setting up for a shoot to the editing process. I love that I'm constantly learning new things, and no 2 days are exactly the same. 

But honestly, I think my favorite part is the joy I get to bring to my client when they see their images. 

 

A few of my favorite things:

 

• Reading. I devour books... I can never get enough, and I somehow passed this awesome love to my children.

• Laughter. Especially making my children laugh.

• Music. All types. And I sing-loudly and off key :).

• Tattoos. I have quite a few, including my newest- a full sleeve. 

• Art. In all forms. Most people don't know that I love to scupt and paint. 

• Harry Potter.

• Animals. Particularly dogs, parrots and horses.

• Being silly with my husband.

• Disney movies. 

• Pinterest.

• The months September through February and every holiday that falls in between.
